The world’s toughest windsurfing contest took place at Magheroarty Beach, on the northwest coast of Ireland.
Storm winds and waves arrive in full force for the world’s toughest windsurfing contest, as a massive North Atlantic storm batters the beaches of northwestern Ireland. Eight world-class windsurfers, have traveled from all corners of the globe, to take part in Red Bull Storm Chase, the world’s toughest windsurfing contest.
Having waited over three years for such a storm to arrive, the competitors and contest crew could hardly believe the conditions that confronted them. Australian windsurfer Jaeger Stone wins to event, with 131kph winds and 10m waves battering the Irish Coast!
