The passion for sports has always occupied a central position in my life. When I was a child I meticulously kept a diary with football and tennis results. However, skiing cast a spell over me in particular: I never missed an opportunity to watch the Ski World Cup.
Born and raised in Carinthia, Austria it goes without saying that I shared my enthusiasm with many friends and family. There has always been something magical about how people can produce great sporting achievements under the pressure of a tournament. Even watching increases your adrenaline when the best in the world compete with each other.
And the fascination has retained into adulthood: my interest and hobby became a professi-on, my passion became my future career.
I sharpened my skills as an editor at Onboard Snowboarding Magazine (Factory Media), for Mpora and Cooler Magazine whilst keeping in mind my next big step. Eventually, I became the project manager for the FIS Snowboard World Cup and the UCI Mountainbike World Cup (Smaragd Media Ltd.) for TV broadcast – a dream come true. Words and print media transformed into moving pictures and sound.
After many fruitful years in which I learned a great deal about the media industry, I decided to stand on my own two feet. In January 2009, I started my own business: eye|sprint communication.
Since then, our philosophy has been the following: The key to success is a holistic ap-proach throughout the realisation of a media project and its distribution, best supported by advising our clients face to face, offering short lines of communication and an extremely well functioning team. For more than six years, our approach has reassured our customers and our media partners at the same time.
